SAP Data

Today if you take the IT industry, there are many different verticals and horizontals in it. When I first got into a company, I was allocated into a content management project. It was really good working with content management where you have to maintain various portals that function both in the intranet and over the internet. One of my other friends got placed into a SAP project. Once we were pretty established in our domain, we used to argue and compare various factors by which we can say a particular technology is better. He used to say SAP data management is far more complex, at the same time efficient in terms of memory footage. I however feel that the data in any technology for that matter shall be managed effectively if the developer handles the connection objects and the user defined objects. So it is not that a particular technology is better and other is not. It all depends on how we see it.
