Social Work

After college there are many choices to make and various careers to be opted. In our gang of twelve friends, eleven chose to go into the IT industry while one of them decided to go into social work. In fact even during the college he was working with his social work exam. He used to talk a lot about social work and its significance. Sometimes he feels it being taken lesser care while it should in fact be looked in more seriously. Today he is living a different life out there. While we live in air conditioned rooms, working with codes and tools, he is out there working for the development of the people. At the end of the day, all that matters is how far you have carried yourself through your tough times with a baton of hope. We are all proud of him for what he is now. Though he doesn’t earn more, he sure has earned lot of respect in the society.
